Fottima's Monday Assignment
Long Distance Relationship
I look at the picture and see a couple that are and one giant heart but are on opostite sides of the heart.
I think the artist wanted to show a long distance relationship, because the couple are on different sides of the heart which I think represents the earth and the water in between them is the ocean. Even when they are on opposite sides they still love each other.

Fottima's assignment 7/28/2016
24/7- I feel like I work 24/7.
ASAP- I'm late for work and I need to get their ASAP.
Ahead of the pack- I am always ahead of the pack.
Back to square one- I geuse I'm back at square one.
Big picture- My boss makes sure we see the bigger picture.
Call it a day- After we are done out shift our boss always says "let's call it a day".
One day I had to go to work but I woke up 45 mins off of the regular time I wake up on work days, this meant I couldn't eat breakfast which was a bad start. I had to get to work ASAP, sometimes I feel like I work 24/7. I arrived at work 20 minuites late thankfully my boss wasn't mad. I started my shift and I was still ahead of the pack but then I realized I was supposed to be working in the kitchen and I was cleaning so I had to go back to square one. Finally we finished and our boss said "let's call it a day" then I happily left.

JUN 6 2016 Assignment
Task 2:
Task two is a reading task. Read the following passage and then answer the following questions. Make sure to record your answers for class discussion afterwards.
HOCKEY’S $124 MILLION MAN
When Washington Capitals superstar Alexander Ovechkin became the National Hockey League’s first $100-million man early in 2008, it was hard to find anyone in the hockey world who didn’t believe he was worth every penny. But how can this be possible? Is any hockey player truly worth that much money? It doesn’t take a Wall Street accountant to figure out what was in it for the player known as ‘Alexander the Great.’ Ovechkin’s 13-year, $124-million contract averages out to just over $9.5 million a season, giving him financial security for life. Even so, Washington Capitals owner Ted Leonsis believes the deal is also good for his hockey team. At the time, Leonsis admitted that making a decade-long commitment to a 22-year-old in just his third NHL season wasn’t an ordinary thing. But if Ovechkin has proven anything by his goal-scoring rampage since his rookie season in 2005–06, it’s that he’s no ordinary player. All the awards and accolades – Calder Trophy as top rookie in 2006, Rocket Richard Trophy as the NHL’s top goal-scorer and Hart Trophy as NHL’s Most Valuable Player in 2008 and 2009, plus four straight first-team all-star selections – only begin to tell the story. It’s Ovechkin’s once-in-a-generation combination of skill, size, brute physical strength and relentless passion that sets him apart and draws fans to the arena. That’s the package that Leonsis is paying for. “I’m a risk-taker,” Leonsis said at the time. “And if you’re going to make a long-term investment, who else would you do it with?” Ovechkin said the contract wouldn’t change the way he approaches the game. “I know it’s extra pressure, but I have to play the same,” he said. “If you think of the pressure, it’s hard for you. I have to play the same way – play more, play better.”

Fottima's 1.1 listening
The message was from Tom who was most likely the secratary at khalif's clinic (Doctor),
The message was to a patient named Amran regarding him having an Apointment but having to change the date of that Apointment because the doctor had a golf tournament and because of that the doctor clinic will be closed that day.
The old appointment was supposed to be on Thursday but due to the clinic being closed on that day the secretary suggested for another Apointment on September 21st at 3:00pm
The speaker feels a bit bad because the patients appointment was canceled I know that because his voice sounded lower and not as happy and also he gave him another suggestion for an appointment.
September 21st is not good for me I'm attending a wedding for one of my friends and I can not cancel it. A better date and time for me would be on September 25th and any time after 5:00pm because I have work.
